I need a professional website. It will be for a company doing online training. The videos will be in flash format and provided by me. The subjects include the Office 2k7 suite and more.

I need a shopping cart setup for people buying a CD version of the training or people that choose to go the online route. This will of course require a database for the users that signup and pay.

How much would a website like this cost? I can talk about more details but the design is up to you for the most part. I have the logo already.

At this point I want to start this website and have capital for it. I need a good webdesigner that has examples and can take something like what I described on without problems.

    About 5-8 pages
    Scripting
    Shopping cart

I have the domain name and account setup with Godaddy so I have the server side/hosting already.

    Thanks
    PS

    Please PM me all quotes.

  3. you'll need a pretty secure digital download script as well.

2.5k is a bit steep, no? I'm sure you need more details, right?

If you want a professional website, even 2.5k is a steal imo. I haven't qouted out a website for less than 7k where I work.

I've received quotes for a corporate site (which includes database design, along with the software for the site itself) and they were never lower than 6 figures. Just an FYI. They probably weren't as complicated as what you need either. But you pay for quality.

So a couple g's is a good deal.

Sounds like your best bet is to find a college student or friend to hook you up.
