I need a new power adapter for my PowerBook...

    Anyone use a power adapter that isn't made by Apple? I'm really tempted to order one from MacWizards but I'm worried about using a non Apple power supply. Not sure if I should take the chance.

    i haven't personally, but i've heard of other people doing it without harming their computers. you should be fine.

    as long as the voltages/ current match up you are fine

    I got one off eBay and it worked fine. May sure you get the 65 watt instead of the lower powered old 45 watt which will only charge your machine when you aren't using it.
