If I have to hear Avril Furtado and jo-jo being played anymore I am going to rape then spit. Seriously, I currently have earbuds but I think I'm beginning to lose my hearing because I have to turn them up loud enough to drown out the shit they play at my gym. Can anyone recommend a good pair? What pair do you use during your lifts?

    :x:

I think that I'd like to stay away from the earbuds...unless they do a good job at canceling out the sound without making me go deaf :dunno:

the whole point of shures is to cancel out all sound around you and STOP you from going deaf ... no sound from outside = play music quieter

not to mention they are amazing quality

I love my shure earbuds. Only bad thing is when I get really sweaty they don't fit quite as well.

My best purchase this year has been Logitech Bluetooth headphones.

They're a little bigger than what I was used to wearing. But, going wireless was worth it!

i have the e2c and e3c (shure). both are great, haven't used the e2c in a while, but think i might start taking those to the gym again. gym does play some awful music, with a few good ones thrown in from time to time

SF5P crew :h5: I don't really use mine at all though they just collect dust. I use regular headphones at the gym

My friend bought e500s and said it's another world. i didn't try them because I didn't want to end up buying em :o

Ultimate Ears Super.Fi 5EB if you want extra bass. That's what I have and god it's good. Awesome customer service too. Replacable cord if it breaks (and it does). Always got the cord for free when I asked them too :p
They are made for moving too, check them out. Otherwise I'd go with some cheaper IEM, anything but sony since it's overpriced. Check out www.ecost.com they often have sales on this kind of stuff.

Shures have already been suggested and I have e2c and e3c. Etymotics are supposed to be really nice as well.
