I'm getting all sorts of conflicting information on google about what to eat and what not to eat. For instance, somewhere on the web I read on a website that eating eggs will raise your cholesterol and cause heart problems. On another site it says eggs actually have good cholesterol. I read the same thing about fish too. The cholesterol content on sardine cans are very very high, and the random websites I've been reading say it's both bad and good.

Any real answer here? Can I eat sardines if my heart is in bad shape or what? and what the hell is wrong with eggs? :-\

I dunno about sardines but I eat like 6 eggs a day. I haven't had any noticable problems with my cholestorol -but I don't exactly get it checked very often either.

Isn't it? I heard on the news that "they" found new evidence eggs are in fact cholesterol lowering foods about 8 years ago or something. I thought that was the end of it, but now websites and news clips and people are actually debating this. How the fuck is that possible?

I thought that the cholesterol in eggs was only bad for you if you were a lazy fuck who didn't take care of your body. :dunno:

If you really took care of yourself and were really active all day long, would it really matter what you eat?

It's really all about HDL vs LDL. Eating eggs will increase overall cholesterol.

Also some tips on how to make it work http://heartdisease.about.com/cs/cholesterol/a/raiseHDL.htm
