    Truth.

What is the price range? Manual or auto? Sedan or coupe?

Might I suggest an RSX Type S? They're a great combination of everything you're looking for.

Well, Insurance depends on a lot of factors. Like me, no matter what car I get, insurance stays at least $1500 for full coverage in 6 months.

An '02-03 Mazda Protege ES or Hyundai Elantra GT would probably work best. The Protege is more of a driver's car, while the Elantra has more luxury-car-wannabe stuff. The '03 Elantra comes as a 5-door hatch or a sedan; I like the hatch, personally.

From people I know who own them, the Protege is damn cheap to insure. The same should be true of the Hyundai. Obviously it's a good idea to get a quote on any car you consider buying. You'll probably find that a Civic or Integra will make your insurance skyrocket, as they are major targets for theft.

Drive a Lancer ES just to check it out, but I don't see any great appeal in them, and Mitsu hasn't got as good a reputation for quality as Mazda or Hyundai.
