all i need it to do is copy one file to a shared network folder. i need to be able to set it up to run once a day and a small footprint would be awesome because the computer it is running on is a piece of shit.

    freeware is also a plus.

um, how about included already in windows :o

just write a quick batch file to do it, and then setup the windows scheduler to run it once a day at a set time ;)

    I'm feeling generous:

Open up Notepad and type in:

    xcopy "c:\pr0n\Trans\ChixwithDix.wmv" "z:\SharedPr0n\Trans\" /y

Then save it but change the extension from .txt to .bat

    you will also need this:

    from a command prompt type:

    at 00:00:00 /every:m,t,w,th,f c:\test\test.bat

which will result in the following output:

    C:\test>at 00:00:00 /every:m,t,w,th,f c:\test\test.bat
Added a new job with job ID = 1

    to see your scheduled job,

    C:\test>at
Status ID Day Time Command Line
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------
    1 Each M T W Th F 12:00 AM c:\test\test.bat

i think the .bat extension will run, but if not use .cmd
