I just mailed it away to Apple support. It's just out of warranty but we had an issue with the optical drive that we had fixed under warranty and now it seems to be acting up again. So they should fix it for free, and hopefully they'll find that my hard drive crashed or is out-of-place and replace that too. If not, I'm pretty much SOL. Do you think Apple will open the computer up and see my hard drive's out of place or dead and fix it? Or will I just have to worry about that after they fix the optical drive issue?
