A&P I made Gyoza

    I made Gyoza edit: AND pasta.

    I took these for a design assignment, done with a 50mm cause its all i got. Had no strobes at the time cause it was in NZ with my brother :( so all i had was a big white A3 paper to reflect whatever light came through the kitchen window haha. P.S YES FINALLY I CAN POST LINKS.

    looks tasty! makes me hungry even though i just had my lunch, ffuuu

    needs more dof in the last pic imo
    #4 looks out of place

    Cheers, why does it feel out of place? :S definately agree last one is abit shallow.

    I made pasta the other day and thought id rip out the camera again. Too much ricer angle?

    looks good, but some of the first ones have too shallow DOF IMO.

    Did you make those gyouza skins and pasta from scratch? If so, splain how.

    I know the point of this thread is not to show case food / product photography skills. But for food and product, wouldn't you want a bigger DOF?

    Im not sure, ive never done food/product photography haha its why i posted up so you could tell me all the things wrong with it! hahah OTAP infamous critique. but i used the lines to direct readers across the page too my text in the book i ade so worked out good for me

    Guld- Gyoza skin is just flour, water, salt essentially. I didnt make the pasta but i would imagine its the same plus egg.
