Like when I'm doing DB flat press with 60lb DB's and the guy next to me is doing his DB military press with 55lb DB's...or when that guy puts the 55's back after he's done warming up and picks up the 90's and puts them up 3x10 :wtc:

I don't really mind that much...it just motivates me to work harder.

it doesn't get any better either...the other day i worked up to the 120's for the first time and got 5 reps, felt pretty good about it. And just as i was finishing up i saw a guy grab the 140's and bang out 8 reps :hs:

I find that doing more than someone else is a good motivator too. Don't want them to catch up...

I'm small, so I'm always seeing people throw up more weight then me

Motivates me, I've noticed a few of the noobies come in and do lower weights, so it made me feel somewhat good

Yeah, but 120lb DB's are A LOT of weight. If I was doing 120lb DB's and a guy came up and did 250lb DB's (let's assume there is such a thing) next to me, I'd still be really proud of myself.
