We'll I've had adsl from my local phone company for years. Now I work for them. I was downloading at 80kb/s.

Slowly made some friends and I went from 80,120,230, 319. Now 416kb/s

Were gonna see how stable it is at 6, but I'm 17,000 feet away from the CO so I might just have to be lucky with that I've gotten.

I'm not a big fan of the local cable company around here. But I'm about 18,000+ feet from the CO and its either ISDN, satellite, or cable. The ~3mbs download and ~300kbps upload makes the cable bill a little more tolerable.

With overhead and neighbors, its a little less than that. But Adelphia has had us at 128kbps upload for at least the past 2 years until just a few months ago.

    Referring to my network setup?

I'm running 10/100 to the workstations and a 802.11b WAP for my notebook and friends.
