Regardless of what service you are in I am proud to call you my fellow brother or sister.
I am really glad I joined. I wanna switch over to active now instead of reserve.
theres no way i can go back to the civilian world, i fucking love the military life
I tried being a civilian and hated it. I love telling people I serve our Country. I love working with my troops. I especially love listening to the Star Spangled Banner.
Don't fuck up my melodramatic lovefest. I will beat the living fucking shit out of you in a very professional Enlisted to Officer manner. Sir.
I can get you at 300+ meters moving without a scope.
I am from Alabama. Pucker up you sexy hispanic airman.
you'd fit right in with the people in my squadron who think they're fighting the most important war ever fought from their goddamned cubicle in west texas.
sorry, i can get a little cynical sometimes
LOL, Combat Comm applying for Army pilot program and Air Force CCT > Cubicle jockeys.
i shouldn't complain, work's treated me pretty well lately, although it will still be months before i fly again.
overall things are going well. i learned how to drop a bunch of different weapons this week, so that was fun.
well most of these people are rated officers - many just getting back from OEF and OIF, so i understand their intensity, but at the same time, we're a training squadron, and the hard-charging part of the air war is pretty much over at this point.
like owen wilson said in Behind Enemy Lines, "it's like everyone thinks they're gonna get the chance to storm a beach on D-Day and punch some Nazi in the face"
i was there two weeks ago for one night - great city. we ended up spending the whole time at some piano bar, which was okay, although i would have rather bar hopped a little.
there were TONS of hot girls, but like any college town there were legions of douchebags accompanying them.
i've given up on girls my own age and now target older women and single moms. it's just less of a hassle.
I may not have the chance to punch Nazi's in the face, but I have worked in a white collar job enviroment, and it made realize how much I truely enjoyed putting on a uniform.
oh don't get me wrong, i'm glad i'm in the military. i would probably be arrested if i had to work at a civilian company and deal with people like that.
I used to have family in Austin. 6th street ftw
I was obviously not my self last night.
I smell alcohol.
It mother fucking hailed in Iraq today!
On a side note though: I you guys too
Are u serious ? Like Lil chunks of ice !?!?! How the fuck does that happen ?
Slightly largeer than pea's...and it wasn't just for a moment either.
Lasted about 30-40 minutes and then dumped huge rain on us all day along with lightning and thunder.
well I have to admit, I wasnt to patriotic when I joined, but now that I have served it has made me see things in a whole new light.
I guess I finally understand why my dad did it for 20yrs..May he Rest in Peace.
Yea Afghanistan gets something like one of largest ammounts of snow in the world and 2nd for lightnig strikes
At least they are happy to be part of any military operation. It's better than being apathetic and not caring at all about what is going on.
