7 days worth of tuna salad? CHECK
(jalpenos, sweet dill pickles, red onions)
7 days worth of salad w/chicken? CHECK
(spinach + chopped chicken + low fat italian dressing)
7 days worth of teryaki? COMING UP
(chicken + veggies + onions + brown rice + some sauce: soy, teryaki, siracha)

Any other ideas for bulk cooking?

I don't know if I'd want to cook chicken a week in advance. I don't think it smells so good ....

IF you cook that far in advance you have to freeze some of it. 7 day old chicken (or worse, tuna salad) is not great....

    .

I'd rather break it into two blocks and have more freshness. My Wednesday cooking is generally stuff that I don't have to watch so I can do regular shit while cooking too. Sunday is when I'll make any stuff that requires me to stand over the stove.

for stuff like salads, or meat, I agree with 4 days max. The rest needs to be frozen. I usually make soups for lunches, because they're easy to freeze, then I prepare whatever else I'm going to eat for the day in the morning before I leave for work. Dinner is always cooked fresh, just because I prefer a recently-cooked dinner. I have made tuna salads and other salads in bulk in the past, but on the 5th day if there's anything left, I toss it.

no that's mostly just the brown sugar caramelizing in the rub I put on. You cook at like 250 for 8 hours or so. The inside is like butter, just falls apart as all the fat that connects everything has been rendered.
