It doesn't look like a minivan The old Civic coupe Si's are a dime a dozen and look the same as the base model. Boring. The new one is the safest Honda EVAR and passes every test, NHTSA, IIHS, Euro NCAP with top marks. The new one has better interior than any Honda Civic or Accord ever. It's actually far from boring and the seats rock. The MacPhereson strut suspension/wishbone rear handles just as well as the wishbone/wishbone set up and makes for a roomier cabin. The K engines actually have something resembling low end torque. The hatchback is unique to the Si in this country and they are rare, nice to be able to buy a Civic and not see 39050480493209483 other cars on the road every day that look exactly like yours. Hatchbacks are more versatile for carrying things than coupes too. On top of all that, they are going cheap since American's don't like hatchbacks. I like the new Si, I think I might buy one in a few months.
