    I've lost 17lbs and I'm right at 202lbs and I'm 5'10. I wear a size 33 or 34 jeans, and a size 34 dress pant.

The issue is my upper body is defined and fine, but I have a "pooch" on the front of my stomach. I was always fat when I was younger, and my gf says it's just extra skin.

Will ab excercises tighten this shit up?

    Drop more bodyfat.

Some people just have a harder time losing that lower portion of belly fat, love handles, or lower back fat.

This happens to me too. I can be pretty damn lean up top with a 6 pack, veins in the arms/shoulders, back separation, veins in legs, etc...etc... and still have some lower back fat and a little real-low belly fat below the abs sticking out. It's really annoying.

I can get rid of it all, but it requires me going pretty lean. I think it's just like that for some people. Some dudes can be 18%+ but still have a relatively flat stomach. Others can be 12% with a bit of a bulge.

Hanging leg raises will help firm up your lower abdominals, but the key is just to keep dropping weight and fat.

A good diet will. 202 @ 5'10", I'm sure you still have a decent amount of body fat to lose.

Lowest I've ever been was 194 and it was always still there.

I read an article the other day that just said "some people just don't have the genetics to ever have a 6pack, and you have to just accept the way you are"

Everyone on my mom's side of famly is heavy and so are my bro and sisters.

On dad's side though, they're all real thin with 6packs

I changed my diet up to get to this point.

I also cut out heavy booze drinking. I'll still enjoy a glass of wine with dinner, or go out and have a guinness or two and that's only once or twice a month

That's BS. Everyone has a abdominals, some just have to get leaner than others to see it. Growing up I was always thicker and bit chubby. My dad has a powerlifter build, no one else I am blood related to had a 6 pack. My mom always told me I was meant to have fat calves and have a gut... It was "genetic".

Then I got serious about my diet and guess what? full 6 pack, vascularity everywhere, and lean/vascular calves.

Just keep dropping bodyfat. I assume you don't have tons of muscle on your frame so at 5' 10" I would shoot for like 180-185 before you start assuming you genetically can't have a 6 pack, lol.

seriously, why do you go to a gym with no barbells? unless it's a free gym or something, even 24 Hour Fitness has barbells and their membership is dirt cheap

Ive gone from 220 to 170 and still had some. I gave up on it for now and been bulking up to 185. After that ill go back on a serious cut and see if im "tight enough".
