Post some great games for the Mac. I'm not into roll playing games, so those are out. Sims, WoW.... all out.

I love Call of Duty. I just got the oexpansion pack for Xmas. I also got Delta Force: Black Hawk Down. That one is fun because it has up to date weapons and technology. Still getting the hang of it.

Anyone play these two still or can recommend some others that are fun to game with?

Jeez those games are old. . . I still play them just because they run so well.

Well, Doom3 is just a nice impressive tech demo if your computer can handle it. Very repetitive tho.

Someone said X-Plane is very good.

Civilization IV is due for OS X in January. CivIV is a great game and if they do a good job of porting it, it'll seriously kick ass.

C&C Generals is fun too, though dated.

If you like FPS, Doom is good but I play it on my PC mainly since it doesn't run as well on my PB.

I tried D3. It runs fine, but I just wasn't digging it.

Is Civ like C&C? I love C&C. My fave game of all time.

am I the only anti-gamer here? I really don't have any desire to play computer games.

C&C is real time strategy. Civ is turn based strategy. The Civilization series are my favorite games of all time.

The only game I miss dearly is Counterstrike.

    SimCity4 is amazing too.

Just wait for the MacTels and we won't really have to miss games anymore. Dual boot into Winders and play whatever games we want natively and then boot back to OSX when the gaming is done.

I still plink around on Quake 3 and the conversion mod for it, called Urban Terror (http://www.urbanterror.net). It takes some getting into but it's very CS-like in most respects and I prefer the game pacing to CS :dunno:

I'm pretty much the same way. Though I wouldn't consider myself an "anti-gamer"
