So i really want to get rid of the stretch marks from when i was an EX-fatty...they are really bad on the sides of my body...just all the way up, looks horrible. They are NOT new so they have been there for a while....

Do they have laser treatment for this? Or would it have to be surgery?

I don't think there is anyway to get rid of them. You can soften them up and make them fade a little but can't get rid of them. I don't know for sure though. It seems that they are coming out with new medical procedures every day.

Ya, I don't think a tat would work very well over a stretch mark.

I have strechmarks in my chest/armpit/bicept area. Cocoa butter hasn't done shit to prevent new ones.

wear your war scars with pride

they occur if you grow too fast ie. if youre doing amazing with your diet/lifting and youre gaining steady, or if youre doing shitty as fuck and gaining tons of fat

but when its fat its usuallly on your ass/belly/pubic area/outer chest

I read somewhere that you can tattoo over faded, smooth stretch marks.. google it.
Also, neutrogena makes a home microdermabrasion kit which is supposed to reduce the appearance of stretch marks.
There's also strivectin-d or something. supposed to be good, never used it myself.

buy a bunch of stuff and rub it on, the only thing that'll accomplish is spending money. why are people so concerned with this topic, do you realize how many people have them? not rare, not a big deal

yeah but nothing can be done with it so don't even worry bout em, it's not that big of a deal really, they do fade on their own if you lose weight (assuming they're from being fat) not much good comes from worrying bout things you can't change. there isn't a magic pill to be skinny, goodlooking, get rid of scars, grow muscles, grow hair, etc if there were pills for those things there would be no fat people, everyone would be good looking, no scars on anyone, big biceps, and long flowing hippy hair everywhere. I know they aren't exactly attractive but that's life man, it isn't that bad all that crap they sell to get rid of scars is bullshit, you'll spend a bunch of money and the best you can hope for is it helps them to fade a little bit faster but there wont be much difference, shit I bet a majority of the people on this board have stretch marks somewhere, at least the fat, once fat, broly, once broly etc, the runners and little fellas may not yet but if they're lucky they'll get big enough to get em
