but how do you get firefox to scroll faster with the mouse wheel? I searched and couldn't find anythng. there was also an extension that I had before that let you hold down the right click and use the mouse wheel to switch between tabs... any idea what this is?

    For scrolling:

Control panel/mouse/wheel and make the number bigger

Tools > Options > Advanced > :Use Smooth Scrolling" & "Autoscrolling"

They make it less choppy and smoother when scrolling, and for me made the scrolling lots faster without messing with the mouse options:)

There's a pref you can set in your user.js file that tells how many lines at a time it should go, but I can't remember what it's called.
