YONKERS - A Yonkers man at a coin laundry to wash his clothing found a bag filled with illegal homemade silencers and ammunition clips early this morning, police said.

Yonkers police Capt. Frank Bruno, commander of the 2nd Precinct, said the man walked into the Laundry Plus at 1039 Yonkers Ave. at 5:20 a.m. and saw a blue Nike bag on the floor.

He opened it and found four homemade silencers, three magazine clips each loaded with 32 rounds of 9 mm, .40-caliber and .22-caliber ammunition.

The 51-year-old man called the police.

Police investigating the incident talked to the owner, who said he too saw the bag, opened, but left it thinking that the owner would return for it.

yeah because people just leave stuff like that at laundromats. i wouldn't be surprised if it was the guy's own stuff and he just didn't know what to do with it

So in the vein of reporting "9mm assault rifles", they found some bum's bag of empty soda bottles and some loose bullets he found under a staircase somewhere?

So did each of these fancy magazine-clips have 32 rounds in it, or was each of them loaded for a total of 32 rounds?
