I just went to the gym for the first time in years...

    Good Lord, I'm going to be sore in the morning. After reading all the stickies over the weekend I was pretty excited to go. But when I got there, I was easily the smallest guy in the room. :o I guess I have a long way to go, but it feels good man.

    I'm using first 3 day split here: http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?threadid=593679. I couldn't even complete half the reps on the last sets. Plus I felt like I was using poor form. Probably should decrease weight huh? :o

    I can't stand doing any lifts with ANY err in form. I drop weight steadily til i feel it looks/feels right.

    Oh and good to have you back in the gym.

    I want to commend you for reading the stickies before asking stupid questions. Yes, you will definitely want to lower the weight until you can use good form. And welcome :wavey:

    started going to the gym again last week.

    started week #2 with Pur's Leg routine this afternoon.

    im weak as hell too, but atleast we are in the gym :bowdown:

    i want to start a blog with pics and numbers and whatnot, but id be embarassed to post them here :o

    i squatted less that most guys curl probably :rofl:

    no need to be embarassed, we all start somewhere man.

    In febuary, i couldn't flat bench 85lbs.... but i accepted it.


    aslo i loooove the way Pur's leg routine makes me unable to walk straight, for two full days every week.

    yeah, i do my best to just push my body to the limit and not pay attention to anyone else in the gym.

    its not like anyone has been rude thus far, its more of a personal self-esteem thing.


    and :bowdown: to the leg routine.

    to change things up as well, i'll switch up the squats. Front Squats, Box Squats, etc.

    dude I am pretty sure that you would enjoy walking bow-legged and sore in the ass a little more than the rest of us lol
