Well not really but it feels like I did! I just paid $1000 for a used D90 (18k acutations) w/ grip, stofen diffusers, extra battery, 18-70mm dx and sb600!

I can sell my D40 w/ 18-55 for $375~ and the sb600 (I already have one) for around $200. So for $425 I got the body, slightly better lens, diffusers, grip and extra battery.

    :run: This shit is nuts!

I think that was our point. Multiple flashes give you more ways to get creative with your lighting, not to mention doubling them up to get a stop more power.

DON'T DO IT, MARK MY WORDS. You will feel like some homeless guy's sweaty fucking jizz rag if you buy a SB600. Seriously why would anyone buy nikon's poor person flash? You will regret it even if you know nothing about photography. SB900 or go home nga, thats the deal. In fact, sell your current fisher price 600 and go buy five 900s. You'll thank me later man.

I can't get this D90 to let me choose the AF point with the D-pad. I've switched to AF-S with single-point AF area, and when I try to use the D pad the AF point won't move.

However when I switch the focus lock button on the grip to alter the AF point I can now move it around.

It's not locked. The AF works fine but I'm not able to use the D-Pad to toggle the AF point it's focusing on.

However I can program the AE-L/AF-L button on the grip to control the AF point and when I hold that down I can use the front wheel on the grip to rotate through the 11 AF points.

EDIT: nvm got it :o I could have swore it wasn't in the lock position

    Barry's turf... :-(
I got my D90 for FREE by using points from my credit card...that I earned paying for shit at work (travel expenses, etc)...that I got re-imbursed for.

    Credit card points FTMFW!

Now I just need to learn out to USE it properly! lol
