a Linksys 802.11G broadband router. Have one PC wired, the other thru a Linksys wireless G adaptor. I have it set on Channel 6, and the signal is "fair" is there any benefit to a higher or lower channel?

    Thanks!

No benefit unless you're experiencing interference on that channel.

Try changing the channel, if there's improvement, then you were probably experiencing interference on that channel. Otherwise, it could just be the materials in your home.
