Its actually trapping 107 which I think its pretty damn good for an unported GT40P headed motor on drag radials. These heads were pulled of a damn ford explorer!!! This is a full weight GT (3452lbs with driver) we are talking about with a tremec 3550. If you dont know tremecs, they eat up another 3-5% power over a T5.

I've also put in my fair share of drag passes over the years...mostly on street tires which is why i'm just learning how to lauch these DRs into the 1.8s.

Your aluminum headed "box stock" TW setup is most likely capable of 300+ RWHP.

Now, not to be rude but a Twisted Wedge top end on a 302 only trapping 108 is pretty pathetic. You spend $1300+ just on your fancy heads...and my $200 Ford OEM truck take-off heads nearly out run you.

actually.. im in a full weight 88 GT with no reduced weight what so ever except for the change over on a H/C/I setup.. traps of 108 came on 7.5" stock tires (pizza shredders) and i still was runnin 13.4 with 2.3 60ft (shitty).. im running a T3550 also... so stop your bitching, gimme some DRs and lets play :naughty: ... and 1300?.. actually they are TrackHeats i bought brand new in box for $ 500 :x:
