I think you paid too much because for $250 you could have gotten one chambered in 7.62 NATO which at least has ammunition readily availabel :o

Anyway congrats, they have a nice action.

Wow. Thats a long time to wait. I just got my concealed weapons in FL. It was a two hour class then you shoot one round off at the range and you send it in and within 30-90days you have your license. I heard FL gun laws are alot less strict than other states.

.303 isn't so bad to find, at least you can purchase it at most sporting goods stores. 7.62x54R is a PITA to find anywhere but real gun shops and online.

I wouldn't think 7.62x51 NATO would be very easy to find locally anywhere. .308 is everywhere, but I know the NATO round has much less maximum pressure than the civilian round.

we're the leading manufacturer for the country's technology, movie and music industry. the california central valley supplies 75% of the nations fruits and vegetables. we have an abundance of natural resurces, gold, oil, coal, timber, water. CA also has the worlds 6th best economy.

without california, the united states wouldnt be what it is.

Of my four local gunshops I have never seen .303 but I have seen x54r.

And you can still buy cheap surplus x54r whereas there is no longer any such thing as "cheap" .303.

That's true, but that happens when they are still making 54R surplus, and haven't made .303 for decades.
