I haven't been this impressed with a game since Half Life 1... This is like 100x better than ME1, it is better in every single conceivable way. I like the characters better, I like the story better (I continued from an ME1 completed save game), I like the environments better, I like the combat better, I like the upgrade system better, the graphics are much better...

Yeah, it's just awesome, I couldn't pull myself away from it all night, I kept saying just one more mission, or "I'm just gonna recruit one more crew member" and before I knew it the sun was coming and up... AND THEN I said fuck it and played for another 4 hours.

When I walked into Afterlife I was FLOORED, I can't believe they went from choras den/flux to THAT! That whole station was so refreshing after drudging through the identical cloned environments of ME1, and then I did the new citadel and the prison ship, jesus christ, it just kept getting better. I won't say anymore I didn't want this to be a spoiler post...

So anyway, there is my endorsement, buy this game, I'm fucking tired. :eek3:

    I played for ~ 5 hours yesterday
wanted to continue but that is pretty much the max amount of time i'm willing to put on an xbox360 in one sitting. Rather not have my house burned to the ground.
Game is *FUCKING* stellar. That is all.

Is it going to be a problem if I never finished the first? I got bored 3/4 of the way through.

I forced myself to finish 1 just so I could continue the story in this one, it was hard to force myself to play it, it was pretty boring most of the time, I just finished it like a day before I started ME2 so I can compare them based on fresh memories... I think it is MUCH better, right from the first 5 minutes all the way though the 14 hours I have played now, every second has been more exciting and more engaging.

Im sitting around debating whether or not to blast through ME1 again.

Ive got a character I can import but I sort of want to play through again as a raging asshole and see the outcome... worth it or no?

Couldn't even get past the first mission in ME1. Tried to be too ambitious storywise, boring political themes, the gameplay was boring and the companion AI was retarded.

Constant 62fps according to fraps, running 1920x1080 with all settings maxed and forced 8x Antialiasing by renaming the exe to UT3...

Tell us about the character import mechanic, do you keep your skill points or what? I only beat the game with one character, but he's ugly as shit, what do I lose if I choose to not import?

Nice are the side missions better and not so repetitive and generic this time around?
