Composite safety toe. They are supposed to be just as or more comfortable than sneakers. One of my buddys used em in the sandbox he says they are awesome.

I want some boots for all around shit. I have work boots but I'd like some ones similar to that for whatever else.

I switched almost entirely from sneakers to boots about a year and half ago. About the only thing I don't like about wearing boots every day is lacing them up.

I'd have normally gone through 3 pair of sneakers in a year and a half... I'm still on the same pair of boots. When I take the time to clean & condition them they still look practically new.

I wear a more old-school leather upper welted to sole style though.

I know they're as expensive as fuck but you'd think they'd be more popular.

I wore mine into the local Red Wing dealer to get some cleaner and the guy was like "... those look like some well made boots, what are they?" I told him Danner, and he says "Never heard of them." :ugh2: Way to know your competition buddy.
