I wanna purchase a firearm...what's the process here? I have a USP40 compact back in the philippines...I heard from a co-worker you don't need a license (which sounds weird) and the other info i got was all i need to do is go to a class and take an exam to purchase a firearm..

    now...what's the real deal??? :ugh:

    thanks!

    ughhh

1)You'll need a valid CA ID
    2)Us residence
3)Take some dumb ass test and pay $25 for it
4)Pick out your gun with a 10 round mag :(

Step #1 = move to a different state
Step #2 = Go to store and buy gun

Just to purchase, and I think you can just use your hunters safety card if you have one.

for hand guns you would need to take the hand gun safety test, rifles you can just purchase.

10 rounds. That applies to all guns.

I wonder why the think that limiting mag capacity is going to accomplish something?

no, you need to take the hsc test, hunters safety does not count
