    :eek3:

My car wouldn't start after I washed it the other day. I did some research and found a tsb about the cowl drains clogging and water dumping into the ecu compartment. I pulled the ecu out and it was indeed full of water. I took some alcohol and swabs and cleaned everything up \ dried it off and noticed that there is a Turner Motorsports ECU eprom installed. There was a good bit of corrosion on the board, but it looks brand new after its cleaning  I put the computer back in the car and it fired right up. The engine idles smoother, has better pickup, and doesn't surge when I come to a stop anymore. :bigthumb: The chip is programmed for premium gas, wonder if I will see any difference if I start using it. (other than my wallet getting lighter) :mamoru:

At what speed will my car take off \ go back in time? :eek3:

I love mine, I've spent a total of about 1400 dollars (not including the price of the car) in upgrades. Brand new black interior with vader seats, new carpet and floor mats, M3 wheels with new tires, head unit mids and tweeters, and a 12 inch sub out of my old car.

If my motor ever blows, I'll buy a new car and prob drop an LSx into the E36 for a fun track car.

    None.

Dumbass kid owned it and was doing donuts in a parking lot. He hit the curb with the front left tire and bent the control arm. He took it to a tire shop and they told him it would be 2700 dollars to fix. His dad sold it to me for 1000. I got a new control arm for 150 bucks and had the car driving later that day. :naughty:

It was a tire shop. Oh and the wheel \ tire needed to be replaced. But I got the M3 wheels and new tires for 500 dollars.

    Fuck.

I wish I had a place to work on a car. I'd love to buy a $2000 e36 and have a project car to work on.
