I just bought the Nikkor 80-200 f/2.8 for $650

Just bought it off a dude on Craigslist. I left my camera at home today so I tested it on his D300 and holy shit it's an awesome lens.

Minor brassing on the tripod collar and the hood had a slight crack in it that was glued back together.

Other than that, perfect working order.

Can't wait to try it on my camera tonight :coold:

Yeah, not too much pops up on mine. I've been looking at this lens for weeks now and told myself i'd buy it this week. I was thinking about getting it from B&H but then saw this pop up on my RSS feed this morning from Craigslist and knew I had to buy it :o

I'm planning on getting a 2x teleconverter for it too. It'll bump the aperature down to 5.6 but in full light that shouldn't matter too much. 160-400mm f/5.6 ftw :x:
