MIL I just bought a surefire flashlight, what real-world uses do I need such power for?

I have a surefire, I carry it if I am going out at night, especially off base.

Before I was stationed the gun hating state of Illinois, I would carry my gun, and my light everywhere I legally could. Temporarily blind a theat to get away, or to be a jackass to a buddy. Fantastic if you ever need a light - very bright.

Out of my mind, brb never.
I bought my E2E 2 years ago, and it has survived everything from being fallen on in my drunken stupor, to falling 50 feet onto hard tarmac out the open door of a helicopter. I carry it everywhere I go, especially at night in unfammiliar places. A drunk bum was harassing me one night at our public beach and started getting hostile. Got the E2E out, and beamed him right in the face with it. Crazy bitch just stood there mumbling, but it stopped him right in his tracks.
