There are 3 sizes listed. 25mm, 35mm, 42mm In the picture its those 3 sizes listed, with 25 being the smallest. And you have more view with the larger size. They also have a 50mm one but think it would look pretty damn bulky and retarded on a ar

As long as it holds zero guess they'de be ok, I got cheapo tacpoint for my 9mm setup thats worked fine for me, zero holds, hasnt fogged over or died when gotten wet. I can't justify spending a bunch of cash on a 0 magnifcation red dot when the cheap ones work fine.

I doubt it could handle the recoil of a 3.5"

I went with a reflex sight from Barska instead of the red dot.. more conducive to both eyes open shooting.

Cost about three times what you spent though.. I'm happy with it, and a lot of people that have used my shotgun like it.

unless you're using 150grs of propellant that doesnt mean crap; the recoil of my muzzleloader with 110grs of triple seven is negligible.

Minute of Angle. IIRC, it is 1.049 inches at 100 yards. so a 1 MOA reticle would cover an inch across circle on the target at 100 yards.

From what I understand, construction is what it boils down to. In the reflex, the reticle is projected onto a coated glass backing, and that's all there is to it. I'm not sure how the red dots work, but I'd imagine it's much the same inside a cylinder with glass optics enclosing the projector.

If you are going to be trusting your life to this rifle buy a good quality optic (Aimpoint or Eotech). If you are just fucking around at the range you can buy the cheap shit.

minute of angle. is a measurement. 1moa equals about 1inch at 100yards.

And angles are measured in degrees, minutes and seconds. 60 minutes is 1 degree and 60 seconds is one minute :)

Ideal for pistols? How does that work if the slide moves back and forth?

it would be for pistols like the ruger22. For slide pistols you have to get the attachment that goes on the rail and wraps around to the top of the gun.
