About as bad as this listing I just saw with no pics either:

I've got a complete studio lighting set up.

This is an older set, but I took it to our local camera professionals downtown, they
said it is great stuff and worth $500. You can get all the bulbs yet when need to replace.

I've got the umbrella;s hot shoe, strobes..... all the cables and stands....ALL works great.

Too much to much to list. can be set up for wireless they said also.

    I want to sell SOON.

They told me to not take less then $500 for it even though it is an older set up, it still is
in great condition like new.... but I want to get it outta my way.

So----$250.00 OBO takes it all. And there is allot. CASH ONLY!!!

    This will not last long.
    Good luck.

i think i'm going to start cruising CL daily for photo shit. some of these people are fools. one guy wants $400 for the tokina 12-24 f/4. really? you want retail on your used lens?

    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    I about fell over laughing.

Most people are about 20 bucks less than brand new for equipment that has been used for a year. Of course maybe they are expecting in true CL fashion a massive lowball offer which is what they really wanted all along.

Ski: I keep checking Chicago and every now and then there is something good. I just saw a guy selling the 105 micro for 550 but he did not list what model or anything.

i think i just insulted a guy. he's selling lenses in a bundle. i offered him a few hundred less since most lenses he wants near retail.

why on earth would anyone buy a $650 lens when they can get a new one, with good warranty and piece of mind, for $750?

That is not uncommon or you will see some jackass (I wish I could find the ad) who was claiming he was selling the equipment so he could do charity work and listed everything over retail.

Some people on their lowball offers for stuff I sold are just insulting.

I had one guy when I was selling my 400ex I asked 3k for it. He came over, jumped on it, drove it down the street, and stalled it 4 times. Came back claiming it was crap and it was going to cost him a couple thousand to fix the stalling problem and the best I will get is 1500 so he was willing to offer me 2k.

I was so shocked I could not even come back and just stared at him blankly.

yeah i grew up with a father who had a car lot. worst time ever was a jackass who wanted this dodge pickup. the truck was beautiful. we wanted 8999 but it was sitting for a while. we bought it right, and after this guy haggled for a while we settled on 8k. we were still making money.

so he drives 1hr to see it/drive it. he then says the best he can do is 7k. i said "get the fuck off my lot"

he did too. drove 2 hrs for nothing

Have you ever looked in services? There are a ton of guys who want to get into photography and want chicks to get naked for them to photograph to add to their portfolio.

Although really cannot fault them for trying but I keep thinking this now when I see the ads:

$1,000 drop on a vehicle under $10k is huge. He was a damn moron. I guess he figured showing up with cash was somehow going to make me give him a huge hug and thank him for his generosity :ugh:. I sold that damn thing for like $8200 a few weeks later.

Yeah I see that all the time. It's kind of creepy lol

Happens all the time. People pay top dollar to be on the bleeding edge of technology, then want to cry when they try to sell it a year later because the price has dropped. Perfect example. I've been cruising CL for a d90 to toy with. Everybody wants $750 for their used d90 bodies. They laugh when you offer them $600. You can get a brand new one on amazon for $779... why would anyone buy a used one for $750?

    exactly.

i had some guy just tell me that while bodies depreciate, lenses go up in value.

really? this is news to me.
