no one is buying them and there are tons available used for cheep. who would spend $2k on a new 1VHS when you could get a mint one for $700

  9. Old news

Everyone knows that Nikon owned during the days of 35mm and Canon Owns the digital days. That's why the Nikon name is still big becuase of their past reputation with the 35mm. IBnikoncrewhaterebuttal

My stepdad just bought an Elan7N

    new @ B&H :sad2:
Normally I tend to buy new because the price difference between new and used isn't enough and I'd rather just have new things :mamoru:
but with the resale on film bodies, I'd go used (and did :o)

    I just got a 1968 Konica autoreflex T :dunno:

The body is about 9 pounds  not really...but yeah, its a monster and can be used as a weapon.

When digital starts to be able to replace medium/large format I'll start being amazed/caring...until then for a company to put money into producing new 35mm film cams isn't much of a priority.

Start caring and being amazed then: http://www.luminous-landscape.com/essays/back-testing.shtml

Digital has been giving medium format film a run for a while now, this isn't news.

And how many people have access to high dollar scanners?

And which LF or MF camera do you own, accompanied by your big dollar scanner.
