I feel like absolute shit. Even though not much has changed, I feel really fat/out of shape and I feel very, very small in terms of muscle mass.

I can't wait until I have time to go to the gym again :hs:

Not looking for pity...it's just that people on F&N understand where I'm coming from a lot more than my friends/family who think "oh well, at least you went in the past and at least you'll go sometime in the future."

I had just hit a deadlift PR, a push press PR, and a couple smaller PR's before I had to stop going, so now I'm most definitely weaker and will have to make up for lost time. It's not the end of the world, but it's annoying to be "on a roll" then have to take time off. To me it's the equivalent of having sex to just before the point of climax, then stopping cold turkey and picking up where you left off a few days later. I guess it's weightlifting blueballs :dunno:

Lurk more and choke on a dick.

I actually didn't give an excuse, but I'm sure mine is better than most...I'd prefer that not be the case though.

I originally began working out solely for apperance-related purposes, but came to realize that I preferred making strength gains quite a bit more. When I hit a deadlift PR it's like ":eek3: fuck yeah" but when I lose a few pounds while cutting it's ":hs: super."

It's alright man, I hurt my back just normal deadlifting. At the time I was the strongest I've ever been. Flash forward to 4 months later of no deadlift/squat/nonseated overhead lifts and I can't even pull 225 a rep. It's hard going back.

I did make some serious chest gains in that time though :hsughc:

    Flawless victory.

Seriously, you came to the wrong place if you're looking for any pity or sympathy. All of us work or go to school or have 11ty billion other things we have to get done and we still all just get up and do it.

Try reading the rest of the thread before you reply next time.

And FYI, it's not school and work that's keeping me from the gym.

Life takes priority sometimes man, just gotta try and find some time eventually. I actually took off last summer when i was working so much and i honestly think it was one of my better moves as far as lifting goes.
