Normally I couldn't care less, but your border/watermark/thing is annoying fuck.
I feel dizzy...
Ive seen worse borders.... real nice pics tho. I think I like 4 the most. Bare flash?
damn you Phuong.
Normally I don't mind borders (I used to use them) but something about those hurts my eyes.
Yeah, just a 430EX
I suck at Photoshop and can't figure out how to put just a dark border on the bottom so that it stays in the same spot regardless of image size.
Settings for the pan shots?

# Flash = Flash did not fire, compulsory flash mode
# Focal Length = 80/1 mm = 80 mm

Hmm 1/160 that's a pretty quick pan
it all depends on how fast the subject is going. Last time I was at the bike track, I tried going down to 1/60th and it didn't do so well... but the time before, 1/100th was 'good enough'. I have a buddy that gets some badass pics at 1/20th at bicycle races.
Yeah I tried 1/60th and I don't make out very well 1/100th is good.
Nice pics. When were you at Pocono? I was there this past weekend.
Yeah, over Memorial Day weekend.
Most of the cars are doing 120-150 down the straight, so I keep the shutter around 1/160-1/200.
yeah, speed of the subject is key with panning shots.
takes a ton of practice and patients, both of which i'm trying to work on.
Some very nice cars
Whats the red thing in the background here?
