I haven't been stretching PWO..

    your muscles are tensed after workout.

    stretching helps to keep them untensed.

    it's important to recovery.

    You're better off to stretch, but I think your own experiences show you the truth; the difference isn't night and day, but might be more easily noticed through tendencies to get injured, soreness, etc. Try to get the stretching in and don't lose sleep if you forget/miss it here and there.

    Not a big deal. There are no direct links to stretching and muscle recovery/ strength.



    EDIT: I'm not saying don't stretch

    I LOVE stretching. stretching mildly hyperextends your ligaments making them stronger over time, and making your more flexible and less prone to injury. I also think I feel better after a workout when I do, but that might just be mental.

    stretching ligaments would not be something I would suggest.

    i stretch whenever a muscle feels tight or swelling. keep everything in motion...but i never try to do some crazy over extension stretch directly after wo
