HDR sucks. It looks artificial. Stop using it.

Every single advertising photo you've ever fucking seen is HDR, or something very similar.

Another person that needs to get over himself, honestly.

I'll leave you with these words of wisdom: A good HDR doesn't look like HDR at all, it looks natural.

HDR has been bastardized by the "riceboys" of photography

who said anything about being subtle? :ugh:

I believe the words thrown around were natural and not overdone.

The ones posted are neither. Color tones are correct, exposures are correct, shadows and highlights still exist in appropriate amounts, etc.

If you're against having a dynamic range that lets you see detail in every area that you look at, then carve your fucking eyes out with a spoon. Your eyes, in case you didn't fucking realize, allow you to sit at a location, scan the area, and guess what - see detail.

Increased dynamic range allows you to do the same with a photograph. Fucking sucks, right? :nono:

Don't bother keeping up with photography anymore either, since camera manufacturers have picked up the race for increased in-camera dynamic range. That would ruin photography forever. Fucking bastards. I mean it was perfected with fuji 400 and the Canon AE-1, why the hell are they breaking things??

    right? :squint:

This. Reminds me of Peter Lik. In fact I saw a photo from him in the exact same spot last summer at his gallery in Vegas.
