So I'm assuming you're about 80lbs above your desired weight?

Well...props to you for starting ahead of time. And you could definitely lose more than 2.31lbs per week but its a good estimate.
Are you going to be incorporating resistance training?

    Welcome.

Personally I don't think you need to go start off at 1800 calories immediately. I would probably start off at maybe even 2500 calories per day and gradually reduce it. At too low an intake you might be sacrificing too much lean mass.
Because you're starting off early enough you have time and its better to lose at a higher calorie intake.

the problem I am having is actually consuming the food, its a lot of food to me since I am eating lower cal foods and more often... a can of tuna fills me up pretty quick:

this is what I had to the T yesterday

    1/2 grapefruit
    protein shake 36g
    3 fish oils

    can of tuna
    3 fish oils
    6 almonds

jamba juice with 20 grams of whey(right next to the gym so I had a small one)

    can of tuna
    3 fish oils

    1 cup of cottage cheese
    6 carrots
    3 fish oils

    protein shake

that was almost too much for me to consume, along with not eating very much and being busy I dont want this to take a toll on what I want to accomplish...

Are you trying to cut, and maintain LBM, or just be slimmer overall?

It depends if your into bodybuilding / going to the gym as to what your goals are. But if you cut too quickly you will just lose all muscle off your frame. 1800 calories isn't alot for someone doing that much running.

I think it's great that you are trying to loose weight this early. However a few things I should point out to you. Your diet needs work. Such as jamba juice has way too much sugar in it and I don't think you should be taking 9 fish oils a day. The only real food I see you eating is tuna but I notice you don't have any complex carbs in there. You also don't have any green vegetables. Try adding oats in the morning and I would also add either spinach, green beans or brocoli.

As for excersises I would go to the gym at least 3 times a weak lifting heavy in order to build muscle. For cardio I would do it for 45 minutes on off days. If you do this I think you can get where you want to be in June for your wedding. It will take alot of dedication but it's possible. I would also track your calories/macros at fitday.com. This will really tell you where you want to be each day and you can make changes accordingly to fit a good protien/carb/fat ratio.

    Agreed.

If you're going to maintain that intake...consider on (severely) cutting down on your cardio.

Yea, he will just end up being skinny fat.

Also for the OP, I would up your calories to 2500 a day like someone else has already stated.

    thanks for the encouraging words!

as for the Jamba juice, it was more of ease since we were on our way to the grocery store.

my complex carbs are coming from mainly broccoli and green beans

here is what my actual diet will look like for a daily basis:

    meal 1

    1/2 grapefruit
    protein shake or cottage cheese
    fish oils

    meal 2

    tuna canned or cottage cheese
1 cup broccoli/ or green beans
    6 almonds

    meal 3
    chicken breast
    1 cup borccoli un cooked
    fish oils

    meal 4 (pwo)
    opitbol mrp

    meal 5
    chicken breast/ talipia
    green beans
    fish oils

    meal 6 bed time
    protein shake

I spent nearly 100 min on cardio yesterday, not that I was going balls to the wall but I wanted to wach the game on tv and do something productive too.... would of been off 20 min earlier but they went in to OT :o

that wont be the norm, I would however like to keep the cardio at 30-45 5 days a week because I like the way I feel after.. I am not training to me a marathon runner

Ok yea, that looks much better.:bigthumb: I used to drink jamba juice all the time thinking it was relatively healthy. They were so good so I used to drink it alot for lunch. However when I looked at the sugar content:eek3: Needless to say I dont drink jamba juice anymore. However I still think about those peanut butter moods.

You sound like you actually have a brain in your head. Good luck and careful about too much cardio on not enough cals.

An average of 2.31lbs/week over that period of time is going to be difficult, but not impossible.

    Good luck bro

    I respectfully disagree.
Especially as Ugly pointed out, TS seems to have a good head on his shoulder.

Like I said, it's very possible. And as you pointed out he has a good head on his shoulder, so it shouldn't be to bad for him. :dunno:
