Right, I'm considering buying the following from 1fast400 when things are back in stock:

    400g x2 1fast400 Caffiene Anhydrous
    1000g 1fast400 PLCAR Powder (L-Carnitine)
    1000g 1fast400 Essential Amino Acids
    1000g 1fast400 L-Tyrosine
    500g 1fast400 Citruline Malate
    SAN Tight (2 bottles)
    Labrada QwikVites Raspberry (2 bottles)
EAS Nitric Oxide Booster (2 bottles)
    3 pound Isopure Chocolate Whey
    3 pound Isopure Vanilla Whey
    Nitro-Tech Nite Time

First, Not all of this is 100% researched, but most of it is fairly decent.

I want to make my own stack for protein shakes... the caffiene, L-carnitine, EAA's, Citruline, and Tyrosine will make for something I think I may find effective in a protein shake. The Tyrosine because it has good effects on mental stimulus and I feel I need it.

The tight, i just want to give it a go, see how it works, heard good things about it with decent results.

qwikvites, because i hate pills and try to avoid them, and can just mix it into a protein shake

nitric oxide booster and isopure is self explanitory

and nitrotech nite time because I need a better source of casein protein before i go to bed :hs:

any good things about them? any bad things? things i should avoid or things i should switch, etc?

i do... nothing like y'all do yet, but right now i'm still trying to shed some fat off first, but working on the strength/muscle as well. my diet basically consists of protein and not a whole lot else...

not going to use ephedrine, don't care to.
but the caffiene is for my morning shakes, and pre-workout if I need it, since i need to cut the coffee out of my diet

I have my reasons for choosing what I have :) which is why i'd prefer maybe a serious response about why I might want to change my selections, instead of lame shit like the second reply.

Which is why i avoid posting much in here, because you're all too quick to jump to what works for you, so it must work for everyone.

its all in powder form for shakes, my morning shake currently is an EAS RTD (42g protein, 20g carb, 300cal), but they're starting to cost too much and I have time at home and at work to make my own...

basically i've gone from about 275-280 from december, to 240 currently, so I figure whatever I'm doing is working for a current goal to get the fat off. (I also don't do cardio much because i get enough usually at work)

CEE isn't on that list because I still have plenty of regular and may as well use that up before I get something else.

and the qwikvites are liquid vitamins, because i hate pills :o

I can't believe you used the word Nignog... thought I was the only person to use that :o :o :o

personal preference but I don't care for the ON protein too much... I've been really satisfied with the Isopure and I'm going to continue to use it :wiggle:

I've been lazy on my days off unfortunately, so my shit starts again tomorrow before work, and hopefully I'll keep it up again :hs: I've been feeling like shit since I haven't gone as much, spend a week off of your routine and the whole thing gets fucked up :wtc:

Because until you have your diet dialed in and are working out pretty hard suplements beisides stuff like protein, fish oil, multivitamin and possible creatine are a waste of money. If I were you I would concentrate on the basics first before spending a bunch of money.

as a basic beginner for the most part i would only suggest protein/cee.

fish oil and vitamins are good too.

dont go supplement crazy. hard work and dedication are whats going to change your body, not supplements alone.

What does your diet/routine look like?

If I ate nothing but Big Macs and rode the eliptical four times a week I'd be doing the same thing as you. Unless of course you can provide us with more info and prove me wrong.

The point everyone is trying to make is that unless you are serious and have attained a high level as far as lifting is concerned then supplements like those are a waste of money.

Of the stuff you mentioned I'd get the whey and amino acids if you are as serious as you say you are and possible the caffine if you think you need the boost.

Nig Nog is sort of british slang ... :o I've been using it quite awhile

living in houston right now actually.

Isopure isn't really that expensive compared to some... its got more benefits than others, and I've found if you use sugar free flavoring syrups it tastes much better... and it mixes very well compared to other things

my diet is basically a 42g protein shake in the AM, few hard boiled eggs and fruit a few hours later, 2 or 3 chicken breasts with veggies for lunch, few hours after that 25-40g protein shake and maybe another hard boiled egg, dinner is the same as lunch, and usually a final 25g shake at night.

    Creatine is added post/pre workout.

my first shake however is an RTD, and those can get spendy, so I'm opting to take what I can and make my own throughout the day.

A lot of what I use already consists of a good deal of the supplements listed.

Strength + fat loss is my initial goal, once I get down to a weight I'm more comfortable with then I'll go for more mass, since you folks aren't big on that whole fat loss/mass gain thing in here, I figured I'd spare you the details.

the tyrosine will help with a stress/mental aspect of things.
    the rest, fairly self explanitory.

and btw its not like I'm planning to use this all in one month or whatever :o

and the reason for the nite time nitrotech is because I prefer to have a casein protein before I go to sleep and don't always care to eat a ton of cottage cheese :o
