So when I work out lately and I go to do lats...I pick up the weights and my left wrist feels like it pops and I lose my grip and can't hold onto the weight anymore. What does OT suggest for wrist strengtheners and grip as well?

    honestly...

I think one should not neglect hand/wrist strength but it is easier to hit the lats effectively if you use straps for some exercises. Just dont use them for every lift and spend some time each week working to improve your hand/wrist strength. The bast way to do that is not use straps. Grippers, fat bars and sledge hammer training can also be very effective methods in raising your grip/wrist strength.

But Ceaze is more jacked then I so take his opinion into accoutn as well.

if your wrist is all of a sudden popping then you've done something to it. take a week off and get some wrist wraps.

So I have a weak grip, too. I keep failing on 265 DLs.

What can I do to strengthen my grip?

My available time in the gym is pretty limited as it is, so being able to work my grip at home is a pretty big plus.

crushing strength doesn't really equate to your ability to hold onto a bar :mamoru:

most people who actually crunk would disagree.

an increase in crush strengh will increase your holding. but not vise versa.
