How do I do that? I want the background to be blurred and focus to be on the object.
What if I wanted to take a picture of a car? I wouldnt' use Macro Mode would I?
To have a narrow depth of field, you want to set the aperture size as large as possible. The larger the aperture, the narrower the depth of field will be.
In otherward, set it on Aperture Priority mode or Full Manual, and set your F-stop to the smallest Number.
Oh, and a copy of a photo editing software like Photoshop won't hurt either.
How far away did you hold the camera from the flower? 1 foot? 2 feet? few inches?
About 8-12 inches
Here's one with a really blurred background
This one's not quite so blurred
