that I was given for free, has a power cable but no parallel(?) cable. The port on the back is smaller than normal parallel port connection. I tried researching on the hp site, but everything there says
3 m HP LaserJet parallel cable, IEEE 1284-compliant; DB-25 to small 36-pin high-density male (C type) , I couldn't find any photos of this part so I'm not sure if this is different then the standard cable

Does anyone know what cable type this is? Perhaps an interface for a printserver? Thanks

They are available, but not too common anymore.

I believe it's a mini centronics, if I remember correctly.
