Instead of GIVING them 25 billion dollars, give them the money and ask for that many new cars. Every citizen gets a shot at one of them, like a lottery. The market for foreign cars would dry up, the UAW would have work to do, and we'd all get new cars.

I have another idea too, just let them fail already. The American automakers are out of touch with what they need to be making to be competitive in this day and age, so fuck 'em.

So lemme see if I have this right:

    1. Give the big three the $25b.
    2. Make the big three give out $25b worth of cars.

If you get $25b and then give away something worth $25b...you really aren't any better off than when you started, are you?

We'd all just end up with cars we didn't want...paid for by our tax dollars. Everyone loses. :ugh2:

Kill all of their employees. Fixes the problem of losing all those people's jobs.

Not only that, we'll be getting back $25B worth of products that depreciate in value at an exponential rate.

    Great idea!

This idea seems like it would fit right in with most the stuff they do there.

Products no one wants that exponentially decrease in value. Through my taxes, I'll also be paying for other people to get them too.

Where do I sign up?? :eek5:

I dont see why we gave 700 bill to banks and then when an industry that is much more crucial to the US economy hits the skits, people are against giving them 25 bill.
