It happens every year since i've started college (fall 2001). I'll start off real strong and workoutfor about 5 months straight and I'll hit a wall, and I'll stop. I'm going on my 3rd month of workouts, and I have a feeling I'm going to stop. What motivates you to keep on going?

To not be a pussy. To be better looking then the majority of the population. To be able to handle yourself in almost any situation. Sure some crazy asian blackbelt could mess you up, but in a good bar fight, if you're stronger than the guy, you've probably got the upper hand. (that along with some fighting experience)

I'm very sure it's my diet. I'm a pretty small guy, 5'6" 135 lbs. I was fustrated last year when I couldn't get up 225 lbs on my bench. and I couldn't do 275 on squat consistanly without fear that I would blow out my knee again :o

It's definately your diet man... 5'6 135 lbs is small, how much are you eating per day?

Yeah sounds like your problem is you're just not eating enough.

And I know what you mean about the injuries, I get paranoid as fuck about them sometimes but what can you do. Just gotta keep going. You might want to look in to getting some knee wraps though.

ON whey + milk and a banana for breakfast.
    Steak+mash potatoes for lunch
and whatever I can find for dinner :o

Usually when im in the thick of my routines, im at around 140-145. Those pounds are a bitch to gain when you're myself :o

I've tried the knee wraps, but I guess it's mental issue. I tore my knee up my junior year in high school during wrestling practice :wtc:

Dude... that sounds like it would be barely 2500 calories

I eat about 4000-4500 calories everyday
I've gained about 13 pounds in 2 months ever since being on this routine.

    My breakfast:

2 cups of milk with 30g of ISO-XP pro whey
    2 Yogurt
1 Cup of milk with a bowl of cereal
    1 Bagel with cream cheese
    1 Banana
    1 Glass of orange juice

    = ~1200 calories

Yeah, I understand. But my appitite is very small, and on certain days I can only eat so much. But I'm going to carefully look over my diet and overhaul it if neccessary

:hs: If you're serious about lifting you're going to have to get serious about eating. Lifting without proper eating > your gains

Force yourself to eat that much, even if a little bit at a time, sneak in small snacks throughout hte entire day, im almost constantly eating all day.

You're definately not eating enough. It's not a "maybe" problem, it's surely the cause of your problems. Plus it's good to take a week off every couple of months and switch up your routine.

Damnit, what's his name? He's definately my inspiration, too. But I forgot his name =/. It's hard to find non-PLers that tall.

ryan auger I think. He needs delt work though. Its like I'm on a personal mission to create the greatest body. I can't find one person who looks perfect. Like this guy, he's close but needs more shoulder work, and a few more concentration curls. He could also use some width in his forarms.

I started just wanting huge pecs like most ecto-bitches, then realized how cool I'd look when well rounded.

don't lift to impress people on an online forum. If it really doesn't mean anything to you then just quit right now.

it is easier if you plan everything out

plan out your workout and eating schedule for the week and it is easier to stick too. at least that is what I have found.
