OK right now I'm used to using an older G4 (933MHz) with 512k RAM, I edit videos with final cut pro HD 4.5 and its a bit sluggish. My question, Would a new Mac Mini, with a 1.42 ghz processor, 512k, 80gb and a superdrive push final cut pro HD 4.5? I wouldnt use it hardcore or anything(just like some student shorts and family movies), but I would like something with a little more power. Aside from editing maybe 3 days a week for not even 2 hours a day I would use it to surf the web and what not. So OT mac gurus would you suggest the mac mini (1.42, superdrive) for a cheap college freshman?

i'd recommend more memory and possibly a processor upgrade for the G4 before i'd go with a mini.
