My brother Jason just turned seventeen and he hasn't had a girlfriend yet. He's asked me why and I've only been able to tell him, that the he'll meet the right girl some day. I don't understand why women don't want to date him. He's f'reaking hillarious, has a great, attitude, he's very intelligent, he's sensitive, he has a great personality, and is gain more confidence, he's not ugly, he takes, showers. Some girls at my school are real bitches to him. They tease him about My brother is only 5 feet tall. But still they shouldn't be teasing him. He's also confinned to a motorized wheelchair because he has Muscular Dystrophy. My brother is a little big, and he has small hands, fingers, and feet. My brother can't help being short or having small hands, fingers, and feet;he has had to take doctor prescribed steroids, so he's condition won't worsen. The steroids caused all this to occur to him. At a school dance a girl would dance with him because he's in a wheelchair, that's how horrible girls are at my high school. Would any of you ladies be interested in, or want to go out with an awesome guy like me brother?I'm not trying to hook him up via the internet, but I would like to know your answer. :dunno:

He has MD, I hope this isnt a fake thing, cause I help kids w/ MD. If he has MD tho, and is in a wheel chair it will be hard for him to find someone cause of that. People are very shallow and cant see past a chair. Its very bad, but just keep telling him the right one will come along.

I'm not familiar with those symptoms.
I used to go out with, & was quite serious about someone who was paralyzed from the stomach down.
In his case it was a bike accident, but when I first met him...I didn't even see the chair. All I could look at were his eyes.
White, has a point, though. Most people are pretty shallow. All I can really say is to just keep on being supportive like you have been.
I wish you, & your brother all the best.

    Eh?
Your brother that he doesn't want to meet girls in his age group right now anyway. What I mean by that is that they're not going to be mature enough about the chair thing, and also the MD thing if it's very obvious. Once he goes to university there will be a better chance of him meeting someone mature.

Is your brother an outgoing person by nature? If so, his personality will win girls over eventually, and that's the right way to do things anyway. :)

    Agreed.

At age 17 girls can be shallow as hell.
