I have a question about EXERCISE/WORKOUT

    Hello, I just had a question regarding women's workout. I'm 21 and 103.5 pounds but I'm not toned. I'm kinda flabby. I want to be toned and have fit legs and stomache. I've been working out for 2 weeks now and have been seeing some results (ex: My stomache is more defined)

    My question is: How long will it take for me to be fully toned?
    and
    What should I work out on? I currently work out on the machine bike thing for 30 minutes and then do 45 minutes of weights.

    I eat very healthy thank you very much. And also, my brother used to take these protien shakes but now he stopped, he said it was ok for me to take them since he has some left.

    Would it be ok? Or will I become bulgy?

    if you want to get toned you need to do more cardio instead of lifting weights.....then when you start to lean out go lift more weights

    Change up your routine from time to time. For example, stairmaster for 1 week, run another, and so on.....

    ohh yeah?.. Ok thanks!.. I hate doing cardio though,, because I have asthma so I get tired quick. :rolleyes:

    dont take protein............check on some dietary supplements that boost your metabolism.....excercise more....eat more

    If you already eat pretty healthy I wouldn't worry too much about protein shakes.

    To answer your initial question, you cannot spot reduce fat. How you lose that extra flab is genetic. Just keep eating healthy and working out. But understand that it's a lifestyle and not a limited time thing--this will make your results last so much longer.

    Finally, a quote I like to say about abs I got from a personal trailer: "Abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym." Have you seen Blade Trinity? Ryan Reynold's attributes 80% of his physical gain to his diet. If you haven't seen it, watch it--he's topless for a lot of his scenes.

    You take protein shakes as a meal, or in addition to a small snack. And you need to workout beforehand.

    Don't run, or do cardio right before weights. Alternate.

    45 mins of cardio every other day. Then weights in between. Or do 45 mins of cardio, and weights after 8 hrs. Diet needs to be strict.
    Drink lots of water, and 3 meals a day with 3 snack sessions. All vegetables, fruits, legumes and nuts.
