Another computer just got installed on the network (from another network) and cant access a program that's on the server. All the other computers can use it just fine. I put a shortcut on said computer and it gives me this error:

The drive or network connection that the shortcut "xxx.Ink" refers to is unavailable. Make sure that the disk is properly inserted or the network resource is available and then try again.

But when I use that shortcut from my computer there's no problem. How do I fix this? Do I have to install the program on the new computer so it knows what to do with the executable?

Make sure the LMHOSTS file is cleaned out. Lots of networks like to use LMHOSTS to hard-code the names and IP addresses of servers, but it causes problems when switching from one network to another.
