running windows xp. when i log on, or anyone else does under their name, after a couple seconds it logs me off and then restarts the computer. the only account that is working is the "guest" account. it is not an admin on the computer either.

when i log on under the guest name, i get a runtime error 75. i looked that up on google and it says to run scandisk.
i cant find scandisk on my pc. has anyone else ever run into this type of problem?

    please help me,

    Everett

can you boot into safe mode and log on as administrator to run scandisk from there? Or are you not supposed to be an administrator....
