My walther P99 is still my favorite handgun. A 10mm gun would be a fun addition if you reload, something like a s&w 1006 or a glock 20.

hmm, now i'm just thinking i should buy some stuff for my 229R for when it gets back from Grayguns. I have a small list of stuff I want to get and then i'll have a bunch of $$ left over. surefire x200b, comptac MTAC iwb holster, and hogue hex grip screws. since it's at the smith now there's not much else i can do to it besides that. anyone else have any suggestions?

He'd need a bit more for a p22 + can with the tax stamp

i love mine. i switch up between my 1911 and g34 and it conceals quite well considering my spare tire doesn't make it fit as closely as it would under other circumstances but my shirts are loose enough that you can't see shit yet still don't look like blankets :o

Another +1 for MTAC. Mine carries an M&P 9c, and unless I wear a really tight shirt, it conceals very well.

 Same here. Hence my tight shirt comment. Which is more because I'm growing out of my clothes than anything.

If anything hinders my concealability more than anything, its my gut. Can't blame THAT on the holster.

    Damn nice progress :bigthumb:

My wieght has been up and down for the past 5 years, I have crohns so when I get sick I don't eat and when I feel good I eat too much :o

Heaviest I've been was 216, lowest was 107 (straight up anorexic looking). I've been between 170-180 for the past couple years so I've finally leveled out. But the whole time I've always looked like I had a spare tire. I just can't get rid of it. Like you said, it pushes the butt of the gun away from my body. Doesn't help the concealing very well.
