I have 1 copy of Vista and Office 07, can i install it on all my computers at home?

    i recently got free copies of MS windows vista business and office 07. would i be able to install them on multiple computers?

    i have 3 desktops and a laptop i want to install it on.

    suggestions?

    both are legit copies if that matters

    You can install it on all of them, but you can only activate it on one computer. As such, you'll only be able to use it on one computer, because without activation the other copies will shut down after a few days.

    The way Microsoft does it, yes. The way the corporate software companies do it, it's great. Your software license is either stored on a server and you can access it from any computer with the software installed, limiting you to X number of simultaneous users, or else the license is stored on a USB doodad that you can move from computer to computer as you need to. I mean, you've got four computers, but if they're all just for you, you're probably never going to use more than two at a time, so why should you pay for four licenses?

    Vista is pretty, beyond that it doesn't offer much. Stick with xp, you'll be happier.

    well, i might be in the process of building a new computer so i wanted to install a vista OS in it. i figured if one system was going to have a vista OS, the others might as well too.

    but i might end up having my performance computer under a vista OS, which would be ironic because XP would perform better.
